yknow people make fun of ghibli tears… but I think they aren’t made to portray what they look like on others, but instead how they feel like to us, when WE cry. Doesn’t it always feel much bigger/vision impeding when it happens to us as we experience it?
I’ve been trying to put this into words for ages, thank u
Favourite People: Jason Bateman
↳ "There was a time in my life - it was a solid two and a half years - that I went commando, and for some reason those two and a half years are the exact two and a half years of Arrested Development. So, in every episode you see of Arrested Development I want you to know that beneath the khakis there is nothing but skin and a little bit of hair."
Me cae genial este Jason ^^ Sus expresiones, la forma en que se ríe… quiero casarme con un hombre así.
365 day movie challenge | 36. Summer Wars (2009) ★★★★☆
“Never turn your back on family, even when they hurt you. Never let life get the better of you. And if you remember nothing else, remember to find time to eat together as a family. Even when times are rough; especially when times are rough. There’s no lack of painful things in this world, but hunger and loneliness must surely be two of the worst. Thanks to you, my precious family, I didn’t know a moment of either of those the last ninety years.”
Kenji is a teenage math prodigy recruited by his secret crush Natsuki for the ultimate summer job - passing himself off as Natsuki’s boyfriend for four days during her grandmother’s 90th birthday celebration. But when Kenji solves a 2,056 digit math riddle sent to his cell phone, he unwittingly breaches the security barricade protecting Oz, a globe-spanning virtual world where millions of people and governments interact through their avatars, handling everything from online shopping and traffic control to national defense and nuclear launch codes. Now a malicious AI program called the Love Machine is hijacking Oz accounts, growing exponentially more powerful and sowing chaos and destruction in its wake.
My thoughts; I love this movie. It was so badass, I love anything that is video-game related. Plus all the ooey gooey romance was too cute c:

Summer Wars (2009) dir. Mamoru Hosoda:
Rad film, absolutely loved Summer Wars. Fun storyline and loveable characters with gorgeous animation. “Oz” is an interesting concept, too!
Only God Forgives (2013) dir. Nicholas Winding Refn:
Only God Forgives didn’t capture my attention at all and made me uncomfortable. I turned it off after 20 minutes.
Farewell, My Queen (Les Adieux a la Reine) (2012) dir. Benoit Jacquot:
Very little action in Farewell, My Queen and a lot of dialogue, which, paired with subtitles running quickly across the screen was a tad difficult to keep up with. Gorgeous sceneography and costuming/hair/make-up, though.
he looks like he just committed an unspeakable crime
